That what art school feels like these days, and its kind of a downer. I know I will have to compete against my classmates later on for jobs, and thats all well and fine, but sometimes I just wish we could set that aside and just enjoy each other's company, draw because its fun and we inspire each other. I think I'm being an idealist, but drugs will do that to a person

Anyway, I have my trip to Japan coming up soon, so I should be getting ready to compete against friends and fellow Ai students for Studio attention when we visit them, but I'm on the brink of the "fuck-it" mentality. I want to work hard, and really shine, but without all the kiss-assing involved when competing against others. I'd really just like for my work to shine without words. Hopefully I can achieve that.

Gotta beef up my mp3 collection before going abroad too. only 1,000 or so Japanese songs? Thats no way to study Japanese.. lol
